Beths Grammar School Exam Format

Beths Grammar School uses the Bexley Selection Test procedure set out by Bexley Council. Children applying for a place at any of the grammar schools in Bexley must take the Bexley Selection Test.

The Beths Grammar School Entry Exam: Overview

The Bexley Selection Test is made up of two CEM papers each testing Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning. The majority of the questions will be multiple choice. Both papers will be taken on the same day, there will be a short break in between them. The Verbal Reasoning questions are weighted higher than the Non-Verbal Reasoning and the Maths questions and so should be given more attention.
