Bexley Grammar School is a mixed selective academy in Welling, Kent. The primary aim of Bexley Grammar School is to create an environment where students can establish a good work ethic, develop academically, socially, culturally and physically with the support and resources they need to do so. Bexley Grammar School Exam Format
Bexley Grammar School uses the Bexley Selection Test procedure set out by Bexley Council. Children applying for a place at any of the grammar schools in Bexley must take the Bexley Selection Test.
The Bexley Grammar School Entry Exam: Overview
The Bexley Selection Test consists of two CEM papers. These papers contain questions testing Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, and Maths. Most questions will be multiple choice. Both papers will be taken on the same day, there will be a short break between them. The Verbal Reasoning questions are worth double and so should be practised more.

There is a pass mark decided by Bexley Council. Applicants must achieve the pass mark in order to be offered a place. The top 180 scoring children who take the Bexley Selection Test may pick any of the grammar schools and they will be given a place there.
