Loreto Grammar School is a selective Roman Catholic academy for girls in Altrincham, Cheshire. Loreto Grammar School recently celebrated its 410th anniversary, and being such an old school it is a community rooted in tradition. Loreto Grammar School is part of a worldwide network of over 120 schools, and has strong links with many of them. The headteacher says that Loreto Grammar School is a place to nurture young Catholic women so that they might become the world leaders of tomorrow and make the world a better place. Loreto Grammar School Exam Format
Loreto Grammar School’s 11 Plus entry exam consists of 2 GL papers in Verbal Reasoning and English, and one Maths paper devised by the school. The exams will all be on the same day and there will be breaks between them. Your child should bring a HB pencil, eraser and ruler, no calculators allowed. You should also bring a snack (must not contain nuts) and a drink in clear wrapping (i.e. a small plastic bag) for the breaks between the tests.
