St. Ambrose College Exam Format
The 11 Plus entry exam for St. Ambrose College is made up of three papers, one is provided by GL Assessment, and the other two are made by the school. All of the exams will be on the same day, with breaks in the middle. It is advised that you bring your own snacks.
The St. Ambrose College Entry Exam: Overview
The 11 Plus entry exam for St. Ambrose College is comprised of 3 papers. The first paper is a Verbal Reasoning paper and is supplied by GL Assessment, it will take 50 minutes to complete. The second paper is a multiple choice Maths paper, it will take 35 minutes to complete. The third paper is an English paper, it will take 35 minutes to complete and is made up of comprehension questions and questions on other elements of English. The English paper does not contain creative writing elements. Both the Maths and English papers are made by the school and there are no familiarisation materials available.
