The Latymer School is a mixed selective academy in Edmonton, London. The Latymer School has been providing an education for aspiring children for nearly 400 years. Pass Mark
The top 650 ranked applicants in the Maths and Verbal Reasoning paper will have their English paper marked. Applicants who do not score in the top 650 will not be offered a place. The test scores from both papers will then be added together and adjusted for age difference. Applicants will then be ranked in order of marks achieved and the highest ranked will be given greater priority for places.

- “Looked After Children” – Applicants who are eligible and rank in the top 900 in Maths and Verbal Reasoning test will be admitted.
- “Pupil Premium” – 20 applicants who are eligible and are ranking in the top 900 in the Maths and Verbal Reasoning test will be admitted.
- Exceptional Music Talent – 20 applicants may be offered a place, usually those who have achieved a Grade 5 Distinction will be accepted but this is variable depending on the instrument and other factors.
