Introduction

Kesteven and Grantham Girls’ School (KGGS) is a selective academy for girls in Grantham, Lincolnshire. KGGS is a more traditional school, with a traditional approach to learning, emphasising classroom learning and self study. With this also comes a focus on politeness and good social skills, this was found to be true by the 2011 Ofsted inspection. KGGS also has exchange programs with French, German, and Japanese Schools.

Kesteven and Grantham Girls' School Exam Format

Kesteven and Grantham Girls’ School uses the entry exam that is common to all schools in the Lincolnshire Consortium of Grammar Schools. The pass criteria involves achieving a standardised mark of 220, as is common in Lincolnshire. Priority is given to those who live closest to the school.

The Kesteven and Grantham Girls' School Entry Exam: Overview

The entry exam will consist of two papers provided by GL. The first paper will be on Verbal Reasoning, the second paper will be on Non-Verbal Reasoning.
